Our Initiative

In the aftermath of the devastating war in Lebanon, communities have united to support families enduring the impacts of war. The morning after the bombing began, Moukhtar Itani, founder of DeepSleep International, and his family took immediate action to assist displaced families. Using their own funds, they began making and distributing pillows on a small scale to provide a sense of comfort amidst the turmoil.

As the war displaced more families, the demand for pillows surged. Moukhtar reached out to friends and the local community for support, and soon, volunteers and donations poured in. This incredible outpouring of kindness allowed them to significantly expand production and distribution. Today, one month later, they have delivered over 12,000 pillows for FREE, backed by more than $14,000 in donations from 114 donors.

Over 100 volunteers have come together, some working from their home sewing machines, others at neighborhood workshops, all with a shared goal: to bring relief and comfort to those most affected by the war. Moukhtar and his team are currently the only workshop distributing pillows at no cost, driven purely by compassion for those impacted by this crisis.

Each pack contains high-quality pillows with a 100% cotton cover filled with super silicone, providing essential comfort for those in need. With options to purchase packs of 50, 100, 500, or 1,000 pillows, your support will go directly toward helping families affected by the war.
